Independent tactical voting organisation StopReformUK.org have analysed polling data, past results and campaign activity for Fen Ditton & Fulbourn ward. On this basis, they have concluded that neither the Tories nor Reform can win in the ward. The contest is between Labour and the Lib Dems.
Every single Lib Dem leaflet has concentrated on the claim that “Labour cannot win here” and that voters have to vote for them to “keep the Tories and Reform out”. This independent tactical voting organisation have proven that this is not true.
The district council currently has 75% Lib Dem district councillors. Everything that the Lib Dem leadership decides has to be supported by the remaining Lib Dem councillors, whether or not that is good for our community. Vote for the party and the candidates who will best represent the interests of the villages of the Fen Ditton & Fulbourn ward: vote for the different, progressive Labour voices of Tim Andrews, Angela Platt and Chris Bailey.
If elected, they will hold regular surgeries in the villages of the Fen Ditton & Fulbourn ward to determine the concerns of the community, as well as continuing to knock on residents’ doors. We will take those views to Council. Where those views are in contradiction to the proposals of the likely Lib Dem Council after these elections, we will stand up and fight for your concerns, acting to change opinions and policies rather than our current Lib Dem echo chamber.
