South Cambridgeshire Labour CLP The fast growing constituency
Cambridgeshire Labour is today (20 February) announcing three more of its candidates who will be standing for the party in Cambridgeshire County Council elections on 1 May.
The names feature an NHS worker, an educationalist and a Barrister.
The May elections will see Labour seeking to extend joint control of the County Council which it won four years ago, as well as seeking to re-elect a Labour Mayor for the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority.
Labour’s candidate for Mayor, as well as further candidates in county divisions across the county, are due to be announced shortly.
Labour leader in the County Council, Cllr Elisa Meschini comments:
“From investing record sums into our roads to ensuring fair pay for everyone, Labour councillors in power in Cambridgeshire can work with our Labour government to bring real benefit to the lives of residents of our county. We have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to really vote for a better future in Cambridgeshire by voting Labour on the 1st of May.”
The three candidates for divisions in the City of Cambridge being announced today are:
