The Conservatives have learnt nothing from Liz Truss’ disastrous mini-budget. They are back to making unfunded tax plans – and this time, it’s even bigger at £46bn.

Rishi Sunak has refused to rule out raiding pensions to fill the gap. We can’t let him get away with that. The following video explains the situation further from the perspective of one pensioner Betty, who has worked her whole life and is justifiably worried that the Tories would slash her pension to pay for their unfunded tax plans.

There are nearly 32,000 pensioners like Betty in South Cambridgeshire.  We cannot risk letting the Tories putting them into poverty when they ar already struggling with the Tories’ cost of living crisis.  Only Labour will look after the pensioners who have worked all their lives to support this country.
