We are fielding 14 candidates in the District Council elections on May 5. Find out all about them, their policies and why they want a voice for Labour in South Cambs.
It's been a busy few months for Labour in South Cambridgeshire. Not only did our parliamentary candidate, Dan Greef, oust the Lib Dems into third place in 2015’s General election, but Labour also established itself as the second party in the constituency.
We have seen the true colours of the Tory Government since its election last May. Even in areas of comparative prosperity like South Cambridgeshire there are people suffering real hardship because of Tory cuts in Health and Welfare.
Labour Party membership has soared as a result. Membership in South Cambridgeshire has risen by more than 150% and it’s about time the Labour voice was heard more in the council chambers of South Cambridgeshire.
