Labour In campaigning with one week to go

EU_in_Labour_ayMarch_2016_016.jpgOur Labour In campaigners have been busy on the streets of South Cambs delivering the message that Britain is better in Europe.

With a week to go until the national takes to the polls for one of the most important votes in a generation there’s still lots to be done to persuade people to make the right choice.

We have produced a leaflet with local information and a message from Labour district councillor Nigel Cathcart. This will be going through letterboxes over the coming days.

On Saturday (June 18) we’ll have a Europe information stand at Wulfstan Way shops in Queen Ediths from 11am to 1pm. There will also be a stall from 10am to 12noon in Melbourne.

On Tuesday evening we’ll be out canvassing in Queen Ediths, and then on the day of the vote itself we’ll be out in communities making sure that every In voter gets to their polling station.

And if you need anymore convincing that the EU really is something worth fighting for, then watch this impassioned plea by Gordon Brown.
